As the spring semester comes to a close, we want to honor our two graduating seniors, Alex Carpeneti and Daniel Botros.

Alex quickly became a leader on our team, serving as a member of the leadership committee and as team captain during conference play. Alex made his presence known on and off the field by providing support to every player around him. If you were to describe Alex in one word, it would be “caring.” He always ensured his teammates were held accountable, and he cared deeply about the soccer program. He left a lasting impact on both his teammates and the program as a whole. His dedication and compassion fostered a sense of unity and resilience within the team, motivating everyone to strive for excellence. Alex’s leadership extended beyond the pitch, as he actively engaged in community outreach initiatives and inspired others with his unwavering commitment to the sport and his peers.

Daniel has been a leader both on and off the field, assisting his fellow leadership committee members and contributing significantly to the team’s success. Daniel was a player who never gave up and never wanted to fall short of his goals. He always played as if he had something to prove, and he sure did prove something every time he stepped onto the field. Daniel’s determination and relentless spirit were inspirational to everyone around him. His dedication and perseverance set a standard for the team, and his impact will be remembered long after his graduation. Beyond his athletic prowess, Daniel also excelled academically, while balancing the demands of training and competition. His ability to manage both academics and athletics showcased his exceptional time management skills and unwavering commitment. Daniel’s leadership and positive attitude created a supportive and motivating environment, encouraging his teammates to push their limits and achieve their best. His legacy of hard work and excellence will continue to inspire future generations of players.
We are grateful for their dedication and hard work, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
